Fit For All

Fitness needs to become more of a focus in our lives. Being healthy and fit is not only important for us but our families as well. When we as women are fit,
strong and healthy we are giving our children such an amazing gift. We aren't just teaching, but showing our daughters and sons that being strong and fit is healthy and not just about being thin. When we are physically fit we can play harder and longer with our kids. We can run around with them and play tag or soccer or just last longer at the park.
We have such issues in this world with overweight and obese people and we need to teach our kids that staying fit is so important and can be so much fun. There are so many things keeping us in our seats and so much junk at our fingertips that we can shove in our mouths; all so easily accessible. We really need to show our kids why its so important to be active and healthy, so that they can learn and hopefully make the same choices when they become adults.
 My biggest goal for myself and my family is to live an active healthy lifestyle. To meet this goal we try to eat as clean as we can and do active things together as a family; whether it be going for a bike ride, hiking or just going for a walk. Our job as a parent is only getting harder and we need to step up and be strong for ourselves and our kids. 
The last thing I want is to end up sick with a preventable disease or see my children suffer all because of something that could have been prevented by exercising and eating right. Let do this, lets take charge and be physically healthy and fit for not only ourselves but for the generations that precede us!!!
